MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music is one of the biggest in his part of the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu (his popular hit song from 2016) received the Colombian Kids Choice Award, the 2017 most popular Song. He released his debut long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. Its Top Latin Albums chart ranked the album at 8. Vaina Loca, which was the Top Five smash hit in 2010, also featured Noriel alongside Ozuna. Mala Influencia was his collaboration with Noriel in 2020. Following that season, Dopamina was his follow-up album. He also performed in a duo with TINI for her viral online single Maldita Foto. 2000 also saw the huge record La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo is a musician who was born into a musical family. His mother and brother were both musicians. He has said in interviews that music is a must. When he was young, he taught to play guitar, the piano and the ukulele. His initial choice of career was to be a veterinarian, but his brother Julian convinced him to study to sing with the help of a Cuban instructor. It was the result that he realized his talent for singing and changed the course his life.
